Tony Scida, Chief People Officer

Tony leads strategy, business development, and customer experience at RE:FOCUS Inc. As the founder of RE:FOCUS HR Consulting back in 2012, one of the first People Experience Design firms, Tony is committed to bringing meaning and purpose to companies and the people that choose to be part of a company. His passion is in building the organizational and social architecture for optimal people experiences and performance. Tony believes that HR and People Teams must embrace the mandate of becoming the voice of the internal customer, while creating the conditions for high performance.

 

With over 20 years of Human Capital Strategy and Change Leadership experience, Tony brings a depth of insight and expertise to people experience design and business transformations. Earlier in his career, Tony pioneered holistic people engagement surveying, utilizing a mix of quantitative indices and qualitative data to gain insights into company culture and human performance. While completing his post-graduate program at York University, Tony had the privilege of working with leading theorists and practitioners in human performance, job design, and wellness at work. This foundational work led Tony to the application of experience design principles to Human Capital Planning and Strategic Change, which has become his life-long passion and learning journey. 

Following several Chief People Officer assignments in the past 8 years, Tony has launched the RE:FOCUS People Experience brand with new offerings to address the market demand for integrated People + Culture solutions that are practical and sustainable. Back to Team..
